Jay Z and Taylor Swift
I have been to two shows recently that were very special to me and I have to tell you about them. The first show was Jay-Z....Jeremy's favorite. I bought him super awesome tickets that were 5Th row side stage. I have never bought tickets to a concert before and I was shocked at how expensive they were.....well worth it though! I also learned that you want to be on the right side of the stage if you want to see famous people in attendance. We saw A-ROD and P. Diddy watching the show in front of us.

JAY-Z

JAY-Z WAS THE 'ISH!

P. Diddy hiding his face from our cameras. Whatever PUFFY!

TAYLOR SWIFT
Kaylee, our 4 1/2 year old attended her very first concert and it was amazing. I will admit that I had tears in my eyes when I saw the wonderment on her face. You could see her looking around taking everything in...glow sticks, little screaming girls, lights, music, cokes/popcorn, t-shirt vendors, and TAYLOR!
The look on her face was priceless until she got very tired and asked if we could go home. She is only four so we expected that even though she had a looooong nap before we left.

KAYLEE IN HER NEW PINK COWGIRL HAT @ TAY TAY

Taylor Swift came to our section and sang right in front of us...WHAT? Taylor is in the bottom right hand corner.

Swift moved to the bottom of our section to sing another song and I got a great pic of Kiki.
Kaylee could not believe how many people were there.

Kaylee passed out right when we got in the car. Here's what she wanted to wear/bring: Sketcher twinkle toe shoes, lots of bracelets, a pink hat, a stuffed dog, and a new Taylor Swift T-shirt that we bought before the concert.

NEW Love. Angel. Music. Baby. PURSE!!!!
MY NEW L.A.M.B. PURSE

I'm addicted to anything in the L.A.M.B. clothing line which is designed by Gwen Stefani. She has been my favorite female artist since her NO DOUBT days. I had the chance to actually meet her last year when NO DOUBT toured though West Palm. It was pretty exciting!
Today is my birthday....Loper got me a new purse and I'm in love with it. I love love love it and I'm always shocked by his gift giving skills. He seriously is the best gift buyer!

LOOK AT THIS PRISON LOAF
PRISON LOAF
(andewhammel.typepad.com)
MIXING THE YUMMY INGREDIENTS
(baddog.com)

This is hilarious because I will never have to eat it! A certain type of prison food is offered to unruly inmates and it looks disgusting. It's supposed to look like real meat-loaf and a Florida Senator actually tasted it to determine if it was offensive. I really don't care if it tastes bad because we pay for it with our tax payer money.
Slate.com reports, that inmates are upset and suing over this loaf.
Prisoners in Illinois, Maryland, Nebraska, New York, Pennsylvania, Washington, and West Virginia, among other states, have sued over Nutraloaf or its equivalent. The latest court to hear a Nutraloaf case is the Vermont Supreme Court, where prisoners argued that Vermont's use of the loaf violated their due process rights. (In Vermont, the punishment is one loaf, served at normal meal times, for up to a week.) Oral arguments (MP3) were heard in March, and a decision is expected to come down by the end of the year. But it doesn't look good for the prisoners. The lawyer representing the prisoners noted that "Nutraloaf has been found to be uniformly unappetizing to everyone who has been served it." To which one justice replied: "Counsel, I've eaten Nutraloaf. And it isn't tasty. But many things I've eaten aren't tasty."

RAINBOW BRIGHT is back......and I have proof.
RAINBOW BRIGHT
I was in target yesterday with my 4 year-old and she spotted something super cool...RAINBOW BRIGHT. Kaylee had no idea what she had discovered she just thought the doll was pretty and colorful. I had to buy it since she was so interested...ok, I really wanted it. Kaylee has never even seen the cartoon, but I can't wait for her to get into the story.

Rainbow Bright was introduced in 1984 and by 1986 she had her own cartoon.

(api.ning.com)
Rainbow Bright brought color back into the world where color was lost. She also had 2 companions, a horse called Starlite and a sprite called Twink. Plus she had 7 other friends called, Color Kids who represented each color of the rainbow. Each Color Kid had their own Sprite too. It sounds confusing but I promise it's not! By the way...SPRITES are my favorite and their adorable.

KING CAKES and other NOLA stuff
It has come to my attention that many South Florida residents have no idea that they are missing out on KING CAKES.
(ehow.com)
It's a large baked cinnamon circle with Mardi Gras colored icing dripping down the sides. A plastic baby is hidden inside the cake which brings you good luck if you pick the highly prized slice.
You can also get fruit or chocolate fillings, but the original is the best and it's what I grew up on.
The cream cheese KING CAKE is a close second though :)
This is where my family gets our KING CAKES from:

I grew up in Mandeville, Louisiana, but was actually born in a charity hospital in the heart of New Orleans....Independence, Louisiana. I was bayou bred and crawfish fed at an early age. My parents would invite their friends over for crawfish/crab boils and at the age of 5 I could out-peel anyone. We have our own way of life and since we won the Super Bowl I feel like people would like to know more about the place I call home.

Most Famous New Orleans Bar:Pat O' Briens
They have a famous red drink called "Hurricane" and people chug it down like it's kool-aid. It's so famous that they even sell the mix on their website.

BEST MUFFULETTA IN NOLA: Hands down, CENTRAL GROCERY on Decatur St. If you love green olives, this sandwich was made for you. Order your muffuletta to go with a Barq's root beer and you will thank me :)
They don't have a website so here's their phone number: 504-523-1620
(virtualtourist.com)

BARQ'S ROOT BEER: Established in 1890 in the New Orleans French Quarter.

Most Famous Cafe:Cafe Du Monde was established in 1862 in the New Orleans French Market. They serve the best BEIGNETS, the powdered sugar choking you as you inhale your first bite. The Acadians introduced these sugary sweet fried golden squares to Louisiana.

(Mikezook.com)

ACADIANS: They were French settlers exiled from Canada who moved to Louisiana. My mom was born and grew up in the heart of Acadiana.....HOUMA, LOUISIANA. Only 22 Parishes (NOT counties) make up the "REAL" Cajun people.

MARDI GRAS is just not one day! We celebrate for about 2 1/2 weeks all the way up to FAT TUESDAY which is when we end our celebrations. That day is the craziest of them all....a day to go overboard and get carried away with eating, drinking, and partying because ASH WEDNESDAY is the next day. If you see people with black markings on their forehead on Ash Wednesday, don't be alarmed...they are Catholic.

PARADES: In Louisiana, we hold elaborate productions called parades. The floats are sometimes 2 to 3 stories high and have been worked on for months. You shout, "Throw me something mister" at all the floats and hope you make a catch. I have caught plastic cups, beads, doubloons, panties, stuffed animals, moon pies, coconuts (only at the ZULU parade), fake guns and spears, and random toys.

I JUMPED AGAIN....SKYDIVING RULES
LOPER SMITTY AND RANDI AT SKYDIVE ADVENTURES

Me before the jump getting super nervous.

It's crazy looking out of the plane at 16,000 feet and knowing you're about to fall. I always change my mind at the last minute...my brain kicks in and freaks out. Both times I was jumping tandem so I had no choice but to jump when my instructor did..haha. We fell for 2 miles before our shoot opened and it was AMAZING!! During our first mile of free falling we did tons of flips because my 1st jump was mild since it was my first time. I wanted a crazy ride this time and damn did I get one.
Loper's cousin/my friend Sean...we have jumped together twice!!

BELOW ARE SOME PICS OF THE FIRST TIME I JUMPED IN 2009

KAYLEE PICKED OUT HER........
FLOWER GIRL DRESS

Kaylee kissing daddy in her flower girl dress and Dora socks..haha. She was so excited to try them on and was dancing all around while modeling in the mirrors.

I think her tiny shoulder blades are adorable. The little yellow ribbon adds a cute touch and matches the bridesmaids dresses. I think she will wear ballet slippers on the sand....I hear little ones trip and have a hard time in flip flops while concentrating. Should I dye the slippers butter yellow?

Kaylee will be throwing light yellow rose petals down the aisle mixed with baby seashells. She will also have a flower crown for her hair. We are looking through magazines for the perfect example to give our flower lady, Darines from Simply Flowers.

Darines is awesome and can do anything. Here's her number and link if your looking for someone to help you with flowers: 561-630-4478 http://www.simplyflowerspalmbeachgardens.com/ .

You can order flowers 24/7 from her site just for you slackers out there. OH and don't forget Valentine's Day is next week.

Jersey Whore --Ronnie Gets With Other Woman
OMG...just got off the phone with JWOW from the "Jersey Shore" and she broke some news to us. Ronni apparently cheated on Sammie sweetheart on Tuesday night at a club in Long Island.
JWOW said, "Hurry go to TMZ and look at the pics. I just got a text from Sammi and she is so upset, she loves that kid."

I attached the link to TMZ so you can see the pics for yourself. Loper and I think the pics look old.....Ronni looks younger to us. What do you think?

CONFIRMED.....CONAN LEAVES NBC

His last show is this Friday and Conan makes out even better than we thought!! He's reached a $45 million settlement with NBC. Conan will get 32.5 million severance even if he gets another job on another network. His "Tonight Show" staff will get 7.5 million to split and his executive producer gets 4.5 million!

"JERSEY SHORE" SEASON 2......
BITCHES!!!!!(THE CAST)
My future husband and I are obsessed with MTV's latest ratings success, the "Jersey Shore." I have already proved to him why we must watch "The Hills" and now MTV has something that trumps Audrina, Heidi, and Kristen!

The Guidos and Guidette's attracted 3.6 Million viewers and placed first among 12-34 year-olds. More people are tuning in every week...it's up 9% this week from previous record breaking ratings.

I have read so many websites and blogs saying the "Jersey Shore" SEASON 2 IS ON!! All signs point to YES, but, I'm still waiting for MTV to confirm it. Tonight is the season finale @ 10 P.M. on MTV.

(THE JERSEY SHORE PIER)
I just found an article breaking down what each cast member makes per appearance at a night club. The cast as a whole makes $30,000 per appearance. Some members making more than others.....Mike "The Situation", Pauly D, and Snooki get $7,500 per appearance. Ronnie and Sammie go together as a package deal for $3,000 and Vinny gets $3,500.

JADE....West Palm Beach
We discovered JADE, a new restaurant in Northwood Villiage. I can't believe that we have never stopped to look at the artsy street before. There is a great salon that sells my favorite Kerastase products, 3 0r 4 restaurants, 2 antiques/consignment shops, old school flower shop, and an old school post office.
Jade had some really great dishes and a very friendly staff. We started off with watermelon lemonade...topped off with mint leaves. The boys got an appetizer that they raved about....I don't really like raw fish so I didn't partake. They enjoyed their fresh salmon on latkes and then we moved into some main courses. During the evening the owners little girl put on roller skates and served customers herself.

Don't hate...It's a Kardashian post
This is a wedding picture from the youngest Kardasian sis, Khloe tying the knot. She just got married to L.A. Lakers forward Lamar Odom.
The 4Th season premiere of "Keeping up with the Kardashians" happened last Sunday night and yes, we watched it. Loper loves the ladies and I love all the dumb stuff they do. I really enjoy looking at pictures of famous female celebrities and I found some of the Kardashian family that are pretty cute.
THE REST OF THE PICS ARE FROM NEW/OLD CHRISTMAS CARDS

The Kardashian sister's stepfather (Bruce Jenner) and their mother have two children together. They are cute little girls named, Kylie and Kendall. Here's what they looked like when the show started 4 seasons ago.

Now they are 12 and 14 years old and following in the footsteps of their famous sisters.

Kendall just did her first shoot for Forever 21 and signed with modeling agency, Wilhelmina.

She's already 5 foot 9' and her older half-sister Khloe is 5 foot 10'.

NASCAR WEEKEND

We went to the Miami-Homestead Speedway this past weekend for the races. We met some super famous race car drivers. Kyle Bush, who won Saturday nights race was nice enough to pose with Loper and I post race. He was still sweaty and couldn't wait to celebrate!

Here is a pic of the MORNING BUZZ breaking Nascar rules. Apparently you are not allowed to stand anywhere near the speedway fence. We climbed a huge hill to get this bad ass video!!

The cars were so loud....that's why I'm covering my ears.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
MY FAVORITE HOODIE OF ALL TIME.....
I got my cozy cashmere zip hoodie from my mom two Christmas's ago. It's from Banana Republic and I'm pretty sure they don't make them anymore. I begged and begged for another one last Christmas and all my mom could find is one from JCREW. It's defiantly not as comfy and I still will only wear my original grey hoodie.

Look at the sad pictures of my hoodie. I'm known to snag my dang sweater on anything it comes across. I look ridiculous when it happens too.

I wear it every single day.....so much that listeners even joke about it.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I LOVE LAMB......
and Gewn Stefani just came out with new L.A.M.B. computer goods. I'm a sucker for anything Gweny and this time she has something I actually need. I really love the multi colored LAMB case. You can get all these styles from http://www.apple.com/ ranging from 99 bucks to 199.95

Wedding Colors...SUPER SUMMER
We picked pool blue and buttery yellow with a hint of lime. I think those colors scream summer and look great together. Lemon yellow is just too intense and looks neon on bridesmaid dresses. I hate that every yellow I see is a different shade...AGGHHHH!!
(HOUSE OF BLUES @ PLEASURE ISLAND)
We are still deciding on a rehearsal dinner place...we thought we had a location but they don't except reservations. WHAT??? How can you offer wedding receptions and rehearsal dinners and not take reservations? Now we are looking at the place where Kenny Chesney filmed his music videos. It's on the water but we have to get it catered, hopefully from one of my favorite seafood places.
(You can see the famous Jupiter Lighthouse across the intercoastal.)
My mom wants a photo booth that will print out as many pictures as our guests want in color. It can have Jeremy and Randi and/or just the date. I'm still thinking about that. I hate when people put their names on stuff that I'm supposed to keep. Like koozies and picture frames with other peoples names...don't like. Candy and flower seeds with names I understand....because you will eventually dispose of them.

New Sunglasses....

I love the new Dior ones that have cool stones on the sides. I went with the ones above.
I wanted the black ones with a blue stone but I opted for brown ones because they looked better.

Before I decided on the Dior ones I was into the new Gucci's with gold hearts on the side. The Gucci's didn't look as good on my face either.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My conchs are bigger than yours.....

We want to line our wedding aisle with big gorgeous conch shells and we have had a hard time finding the ones we want in Florida. The Florida conchs are smaller, not pink, and cost 20 bucks a piece in the KEYS. (Look in the post before this one for a pic of the Florida style conchs)

When we saw these in the Bahamas we had to have them.....22 of them at $5 bucks a piece. WTF???? They are PINK and I love them.

It was hilarious carrying that many to the cruise ship... Amazing Race style. We had 30 minutes to get off the ship, buy them, and get back on the boat with super heavy conch.

We did run into some problems at the U.S. border...we were detained for over an hour.

We had too many and it was considered intent to sell. They were tired of looking at us an had bigger "smuggling" concerns at the time.

So we have the shells and a great story to tell.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We have decided on the KEYS
Loper and I went to the KEYS this weekend to check out some wedding locations. Although we have not made our official choice, below is one of the ballrooms that I loved. I will share more when we make our minds up. If you have any suggestions for locations in KEY LARGO...email me at Randi@buzz103.com

I FOUND MOUNDS OF SHELLS AND BUOYS IN THE KEYS AND HAD TO SHARE.

80's kids...do you remember......
McDonald's Happy meal toys in OCTOBER?? My sister and I couldn't wait to get our hands on one of the three rotating pails. They were highly coveted in the Rasar household and still would be if they made them. It all happened in 1986...I was 5 and already begging for my first McBoo pail.
Every year they would make minor changes to the 3 pails Micky D's offered. At first all three buckets were jack-o-lanterns with different faces. Then they decided to substitute two jack-o-lanterns with a ghost and a witch. I was excited by the change, but not as excited as when I got my little hands on the very first glow in the dark ghost pail. Sadly they made their last Halloween appearance in 2003.....tear. Now my kids will never know the happiness of the McBoo Pail.
For the complete history of the Halloween pails check out this random person's website:SydLexia

JAILBAIT
I feel like this guy is begging to be arrested in Palm Beach County! I drive by this guys house all the time and he's always surprising me with new signage. Today there were 2 signs. Dang...2 signs?? He also spray painted a similar message on his wooden fence and then underlined it today. The same guy has a lawn chair and a gas can on his roof. WTF?
I'll make sure to update my blog with his bizarre signage.
UPDATE: Here is one he wrote on a light pole.UPDATE: The fence signage I promised....WTF?

My new favorite hobby......
SNORKELING......
Swimming with hundreds of tropical fish while they dart all around your body is an amazing feeling.
I have seen so many cool underwater sights! I was snorkeling near Peanut Island when I saw a huge dark mass coming towards me. My natural reaction...SHARK!!! It turned out to be one of the biggest/sweetest manatee's I've ever seen.

I learned how to pet a jellyfish while it was swimming by my face. I actually touched a few and never got stung. Then I was picking up hermit crabs and starfish and playing with them underwater too.

I'm so into snorkeling that I purchased a $100 dollar mask and a $40 dollar snorkel tube. I always borrowed or rented equipment when I went under the sea.....but swapping spit with everyone who rented them was FREAKING SICK!!

Bob Saget
DANNY TANNER...was the coolest. He gets a bad rap in the comedic world, but I really enjoyed it.He was in the studio for a few hours on Friday and then I saw him at the Palm Beach Improv on Sat. He was a lot different at his show....we have a lil' something lame called the FCC.

Oh yeah, I made Bob give me some dirt on his upcoming guest role on "Entourage." This will be his second appearance on the HBO hit. "E"(Kevin Conally) is vying for the chance to sign him at his new agency. E IS NOT WORKING WITH OR FOR ARI GOLD.......I asked him. Anyway,Bob Saget walks into a business meeting with a Russian hooker or two.

Below is a clip of our show......Bob wanted to call his BFF, John Stamos. Why would we say no to that?

Getting Married?
My best friend's mom handmade her wedding garter(s). Yes, she made two beautiful garters..one to keep and one to throw. I took a look at those gorgeous thigh bracelets and said..."No way can you let some drunk guy at your wedding keep it."When I decide to get married I want her (Donna Thomsen) to make my garters! She can make them in all sorts of colors and textures....lace...satin...silk. Plus your initials....beads...small bows..and any other details you want.IF YOU WANT ONE.....email Donna here:dthomsen19@yahoo.com

HYPERCOLOR IS BACK BITCHES!!
OMG!!!! Remember HYPER-COLOR shirts?(picture found @ http://www.nostalgiaholic.com/)

They would change colors when your body temperature would heat up. Mine was pink and it would change to white when I played outside in the 80's.

I looked all over the web and found out they contained a thermochromic (temperature sensitive) pigment made by MatsuiShikiso Chemical of Japan, that changed between two colors–one when cold, one when warm. The shirts were produced with several color change choices from the late 1980s until the early 1990s.- source: Wikipedia

I LIKE THIS GUY:
Mr. KenjiMatsui had a keen eye for color and used that talent in the manufacturing of raw materials for the paint industry. In 1923 Mr. Matsui founded MatsuiShikiso Chemical LTD. His fascination with color and his passion for development soon resulted in expansion into the manufacturing of crayons in 1948 and ultimately led to the manufacturing of pigments and dyes for the textile industry in 1950. -source:http://www.unimarkusa.com/
I thought it was the coolest thing and it was another fad in HISTORY...until I saw something similar on the AMERICAN APPAREL website.
Here's what they say about the shirts on their website:
Our ultralight Sheer Jersey T-shirt, made with a temperature sensitive pigment that changes between two colors - one when cold, one when warm. They come in 5 different shades and only cost 28 bucks!
